Ethnicity: We are Caucasian; Kevin is of Polish descent, and Allison is of German descent.
Education: Kevin has his Bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Iowa. Allison has her Master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Loyola University Chicago.
Professions: Kevin is a Director of Finance at a trust company and Allison is a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner at a small private practice.
When did you meet and month/year of marriage: We were married 08/2017 (almost 8 years). We met each other in Treasure Island, FL, where both our families have been vacationing for decades. We continue to vacation as a large group each year.
Religion: Allison is Catholic and Kevin is Lutheran. We belong to a Catholic church and plan to raise our children there.
Information on your home/community: We live in a cute little suburban subdivision in a single family home. We live three blocks from the elementary school and have three parks within walking distance.
Number of children: We have a 5 year old biological daughter, named Norah. We are also foster parents (for the last 4 years) and currently have a 5 month old baby boy in our care since he was born.
Pets: We have a 4 year old German Shepherd named Koda and a 1 year old Dachshund named Franklin.
Desired contact with a birth family: We are completely supportive of an open adoption. We would like you to be as involved as you would like
to be in your child’s life. The more people loving a child could never be a bad thing.
In one sentence, why do you want to adopt a child? We have so much love to give and would like a larger family that we cannot provide for ourselves.
