When did you meet and month/year of marriage: We met in 1998, dated in 2009, and married on 11/11/11.

Information on your home/community: We moved out to the northern suburbs into a 3-bedroom home in 2017. We have family and friends walking distance or a short drive away. As well as family activities and parks nearby.
Number of children: We have 1 son. He was born in 2022 and we were placed with him at birth.
Pets: We have 2 Husky-Poodle mixes; Denali (2017) and Little Bear (2021) who love to play and snuggle.
Desired contact with a birth family: We want all involved to feel comfortable. We live in an open adoption with Zach’s birth family & are hopeful to have a relationship with our next child’s birth family, however it looks like.
In one sentence, why do you want to adopt a child? We LOVE being parents and we would love to see Zach have a younger sibling.

Vacation: We honeymooned in the Bahamas. We have gone camping in our camper and traveled to many states to see mountains, lakes, and different hiking trails.

Fun Facts: We love to hunt for m&m ornaments when we go to vintage shops. Jon has this m&m Christmas tree he puts up every year and we love to add to it.
