Laurie B.Bilingual Perinatal Social Worker

Laurie Bauer graduated with her master’s degree in social work from Aurora University in 2015. She began her social work career as a bilingual medical case manager at Open Door Clinic, specializing in working with the HIV/AIDS population. In 2023, Laurie worked at Kenneth Young Center, focusing on serving youth and families. That same year, she received her license in social work. Laurie joined the Hopeful Beginnings team in February 2025 as a bilingual maternal social worker, where she now focuses on serving the Elgin and Hanover townships. In her free time, Laurie enjoys running and working out, and spending time by the water or at the pool with her three boys and husband.
